All pitches can be accessed from two main points – either via the Amenbury Lane Leisure centre car park or via the Orchard Avenue entrance.
Senior 1 and Junior 1 & 2 pitches are closer to the Leisure centre car park entrance. Turn left off Amenbury Lane into Leisure Centre car park. Follow signs for overflow car park for closest parking to pitches. Exit overflow car park on foot and walk up lane past Harpenden Town pitch to access all grass pitches. Senior 2 and Junior 3, 4 & 5 are closer to the Orchard Avenue entrance, AL5 2DW.
There is a pay & display in the Amenbury Lane car park at AL5 2EF (serving the Leisure Centre and Harpenden Lawn Tennis Club). This has good capacity and we encourage users to make use of this parking option.
There is a very small car park at the Orchard Avenue park entrance (AL5 2DW). Additional parking can be found on residential streets, including around the Orchard Avenue entrance and beyond. When parking on residential streets please do so considerately to allow other vehicles access and do not park across driveways or on pavements.
For Harpenden Town pitch, please use Amenbury Lane (leisure centre) car park.
Refreshments available from Monty’s Café in Harpenden Leisure Centre in the park, or in the Town centre.
There is a portaloo located at the top of the park, there are also toilets available to use in the Leisure Centre. If not open, closest public toilet is in town centre by Pizza Express, or in Sainsbury’s.
Dogs are allowed on the site.
Stored in the blue storage container in the centre of the park (at the top of the Harpenden Town pitch). A defibrillator is also available behind the front desk in the Harpenden Sports Centre.
