Each year around 80 new players join the club at the U7 level, where they learn the fundamental movements and ball mastery that will be the rock-solid foundations of their football journey.
Our football curriculum has been developed and is overseen by George Lappas, Head of Football Development (a professional coach), and stands us apart from other clubs in terms of its ambition and execution. Using this curriculum, we are providing coaches at all ages with the tools and training they need to deliver high quality and engaging football sessions for our players.
All of our boys’ year groups are oversubscribed, and the Club is constantly looking to increase venue capacity to be able to accommodate new players. If your child was born before 31/08/2018, please join our waiting list using the ‘Register Interest Today’ button below, and let us know if you have capacity to volunteer in any way at the Club.
For entry into our Under 7s age group in 2025/26 (beginning at the start of Year 2 in 2025, for children born 01/09/2018 to 31/08/2019), please use the following link:
Our boys’ squads play in the West Herts Youth League, which runs ‘child friendly’ (non-competitive leagues) for U8s to U11s and competitive leagues for U12s and above. In a typical season squads will play around 20 league matches.
Boys’ league matches take place on Sunday mornings. All squads train on weekday evenings, with the exception of U7s who train on a Saturday morning.
Our Boys’ teams play in the West Herts Youth League, which has almost 50 clubs playing across over 700 teams.
Further information about the league and fixtures for each age group and division can be found from The FA website.
Each year group in the Boys’ Section is the size of a small football club in itself, with 80 players on average across multiple squads.
